One Jackson Square is a stunning architectural achievement by William Pedersen of Kohn Pedersen Fox. The 11-story luxury condo building stands on Greenwich Avenue, the oldest street in the West Village. One of the Village’s first LEED-certified buildings, residents have access to multiple terraces, rainwater harvesting in the plant-filled decks and a series of green roofs that extend into a public park.

When the architectural firm of Robert A. M. Stern redesigned the plans for Superior Ink Condominiums and Townhomes in 2007, the team faced a brewing controversy between developers, Related Companies and West Village preservationists.
Superior Ink was a historic building that, as its namesake implies, once housed an ink factory in the 20th century. Preservationists wanted the 195-foot tall smokestacks of Superior Ink to remain as a historical landmark.... Read More
